Intel Core i3-3227U – мобильный процессор на архитектуре Ivy Bridge с ультранизким энергопотреблением и рабочей частотой 1.9 ГГц. Он появился в первом квартале 2013 года и по результатам теста занял соседнюю позицию в плане производительности с процессором предыдущего поколения Sandy Bridge Core i5-2467M.

Вообще, CPU Ivy Bridge должны быть более производительными, по сравнению с Sandy Bridge, при условии аналогичных тактовых частот. Кроме того, процессоры новой генерации получили новые возможности в виде поддержки DDR3 (L) -1600, PCI Express 3.0 и 3D-транзисторов, которые повышают эффективность энергозатрат.
Процессор i3-3227U работает с двумя ядрами, которые могут обрабатывать одновременно четыре потока информации (технология Hyper-Threading). Также, по аналогии с Sandy Bridge, процессор располагает 3 МБ кэш-памяти 3-го уровня.

Задачи графического характера решает интегрированная видеокарта Intel HD Graphics 4000 с 16 исполнительными устройствами и тактовой частотой 350-1100 МГц с Turbo Boost. По мощности она сопоставима со встроенной в APU AMD Radeon HD 6620G.

Энергопотребление ULV-процессоров Intel обычно составляет 17 Вт (с затратами контроллера памяти и видеокарты). Более логичным будет использование подобных CPU в ультрабуках и не слишком больших ноутбуках.

Для разных задач требуются разные сильные стороны CPU. Система с малым количеством быстрых ядер отлично подойдёт для игр, но уступит системе с большим количеством медленных ядер в сценарии рендеринга.

Мы считаем, что для бюджетного игрового компьютера подходит процессор с минимум 4 ядрами/4 потоками. При этом отдельные игры могут загружать его на 100% и тормозить, а выполнение любых задач в фоне приведёт к просадке ФПС.

В идеале покупатель должен стремиться к минимум 6/6 или 6/12, но учитывать, что системы с более чем 16 потоками сейчас применимы только в профессиональных задачах.

CPU Cache is an area of fast memory located on the processor. IntelВ® Smart Cache refers to the architecture that allows all cores to dynamically share access to the last level cache.

Bus Speed

A bus is a subsystem that transfers data between computer components or between computers. Types include front-side bus (FSB), which carries data between the CPU and memory controller hub; direct media interface (DMI), which is a point-to-point interconnection between an Intel integrated memory controller and an Intel I/O controller hub on the computer’s motherboard; and Quick Path Interconnect (QPI), which is a point-to-point interconnect between the CPU and the integrated memory controller.
